Harley SwiftDeer is a healer, and the founder of the Deer Tribe Metis Medicine Society. The Deer Tribe Metis Medicine Society, founded in 1986, was founded by Harley SwiftDeer in order to assemble the teachings of the Wheels of the Keys. The goals of the Society include preserving and translating this knowledge.
The teachings of the Wheels of the Keys follows the Sweet Medicine SunDance Path. Their goals are to preserve individual freedom, health, and harmony with the world. The Deer Tree Medicine Society aims to promote these goals, and to provide training for apprentices who hope to follow the SunDance Path.
Harley SwiftDeer is also the leader of the Ten-No-Kishi dojo. He lives in Scottsdale, Arizona where he is viewed as both a teacher, a qualified martial arts expert and an alternative healer.
